An allocation of Rs. 4929.48 lacs was provided by the Planning & Development Department for implementation of District Plan Schemes in Jammu District during the year 2007-08, of which, Rs. 1719.27 Lacs was the Revenue Component whileas Rs. 3210.21 Lacs have been approved under Capital component for carrying out the activities / schemes approved for the year 2007-08. An expenditure of Rs. 4331.55 Lacs has been incurred during the year 2007-08 that included Rs. 1415.46 Lacs under Revenue Component and Rs. 2916.09 Lacs under Capital Component against revised outlay of Rs. 1427.38 Lacs and Rs. 2960.26 lacs respectively. The %age of expenditure incurred works out to be 98% .

It is worthwhile to mention here that against the approved outlays of loan assistance of Rs. 1147.49 Lacs, Rs. 1147.49 Lacs have beenifted and Rs. 1140.04 Lacs only utilized during 2007-08. The details of loan approved / lifted/utilized have been as under: -
